4Kam Action Ready Pack

This pack comes with a Compact Digital Video Recorder, 4Kam camera, Mic, and all necessary wiring. This pack gets you in action straight away; you don't need to go find a suitable video recorder. Please note the DVR hasn't got its own lens so its only for use with external cameras like the 4Kam. The DVR records at 640x480 resolution and has a built in memory of 2GB.

FAQ

What batteries does this use?
The 4Kam runs on 12V. This can be powered by a battery pack using 8 x AA batteries, or by hooking it up to the cars power supply.
The DVR has its own inbuilt rechargeable battery (similar to an iPod).

Can I use it in the rain?
The bullet camera is IP64 and is weather resistant. The DVR and Mic however are not.

What exactly does the Action Ready Pack come with?
4K Bullet Cam, Hi –Res DVR, Wiring, Mic, 8 x AA Battery Pack, Download Cable, Charger.

What does the DVR record to?
It has its own 2GB hard drive built in. For larger capacity an SD card can be inserted.

How long can I record for?
1GB will record for approx 2hours.

Use the video you capture with the 4Kam to sync in with your Pi Toolbox Software. Understand what the driver and car are REALLY doing by recording every session and race and analyze it together with your data.
